Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoons Traeger Rub
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 4 Slices of Cheddar Cheese (for cheeseburger)

Burger Condiments (not included in calories and nutritional values)

  • Mustard
  • Pickles
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Caramelized Onions
  • Tomato

Instructions
 

  • Get a 2 pound ground beef and divide it into 4 ½-pound patties. Make surethe patties are greater than the size of burger buns, and is at least 1 inchthick.
  • Season your patties generously with 1 tablespoon of Traeger Rub and 2tablespoons of BBQ.
  • Add your favorite wood pellets in the hopper.
  • Turn the dial of your Traeger Pellet Grill to smoke, and give it about 5to 10 minutes to get the smoke.
  • Once the smoke starts ejecting out, put the patties on the grate and shutthe lid of Traeger. Smoke the burger patties for 30 minutes.
  • For caramelizing onions, add an iron griddle in Traeger, grease it withbutter, and add the sliced onions. Let it get cooked slowly to get thecaramelized onions.
  • After smoking the patties, turn the dial to preferably 300° F for 40minutes or until the desired internal temperature reached. Flip the pattieshalfway through the cooking time.

    ·       145° F – medium
    ·       150° F – medium-well
    ·       160° F – well-done
  • For cheeseburgers, add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty for 2 to 3minutes before taking it out, so it melts down completely.
  • Butter up the Burger buns and toast it in the Traeger.
  • Assemble your burger with favorite sauces and toppings!
  • Serve it hot with a side and a drink to complete your meal!
