How to be a good barbeque host? The first thing to do is make sure that you have gotten the right meat. The steak piece is a flat and fine cut without bone. Ribeye, sirloin, NY Strip, filet, skirt steak, flank steak – anything you like.

It can be any steak, though, including beef, lamb, and even turkey.

Ingredients for quick steak marinade

  • Steak – I use ribeye; you can use any.
  • Extra virgin olive oil – to keep the steak juicy and shiny
  • Balsamic vinegar – I love balsamic vinegar as a marinade ingredient! It adds such great depth of flavor to steak and makes it taste like it’s straight from a restaurant.
  • Soy sauce – To make the steak salty and flavorful.
  • Worcestershire sauce – Best for beef steak, adding an umami flavor
  • Pineapple juice – Best for tenderness, even the leanest cuts of steak.
  • Brown sugar – honey can also be used. It’s best for a sweet touch, making the steak sweet and sour cuisine.
  • Dijon mustard – giving final taste to the meat
  • Ground black pepper – add as per your taste but never leave it.
  • Garlic powder – you can also use fresh garlic (minced garlic), but as per my experience, it burns out on the grill quickly. So I prefer garlic powder. These small tips make your meal a perfect one!
  • Chopped parsley – for colorful steak.
