Place the entire batch of meatballs on the baking sheet. Before putting the meatballs on the baking sheet, cover it with the greaseproof paper. The beef balls will now be smoked for an hour at 225 degrees F on the baking sheet that has been placed on the preheated grill. Put the smoker’s lid on and let the meatballs breathe some smoke. Then take the meatballs out of the smoker and put them on an aluminum pan or another dish that can be used on the grill.
The meatballs are coated after being added to the BBQ sauce. Place the pan back into the pellet grill to finish grilling the meatballs after covering the pan with aluminum foil. Return the pellet grill to the smoker for 30 minutes at a temperature of 300–325 F. To prevent steam, cautiously take the foil off after 30 minutes, toss the meatballs, and then put them back in the smoker for an additional 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, you’ll find the freshly cooked smoked meatballs on a pellet grill, dipped in BBQ sauce and ready to melt in your mouth.
